When I was in elementary school I used to have a second grade teacher, Mrs. Senger, who would braid our hair every Friday. I remember leaving school feeling so beautiful because of my braided hair. Fridays and school were my favorite because of her. Let the tradition live on... :)

Tell Me A Story

 

I have recently put a story board up in the classroom. The words the children have been using are sights words we have been learning throughout the year. It is my hopes they learn how to use these words more often in every day reading and writing.

Ohhhhh the places we will go with PLACE VALUE

recently we have been learning place value. I have been afraid the tools to teach value would become a distraction but the kids did great! We love place value!!
